Why Rubanga coffee is different
Grown at 1,600 metres in volcanic soils. Picked by hand. Owned by the people who grow it.
Mitooma sits on the slopes of the Albertine Rift — mineral-rich soils, cool nights, slow cherry maturation. Combined with farmer ownership and three layers of certification, the result is coffee that's both extraordinary in the cup and accountable to the people who grew it.

Meet the farmer
Every premium traces back to a name.
Behind 20,578 members are individual growers — 48% women, 32% youth — each tending coffee on the volcanic slopes of Mitooma.
Grace, coffee farmer in western Uganda
Arabica grower · Mitooma highlands
Grace tends Arabica on the volcanic slopes above Mitooma, hand-picking ripe cherries and drying them on raised beds. Like every Rubanga member, her coffee is traced from her plot to the group she sells through — so the people who grow it share in what it earns.
