Governance
How Rubanga is run.
The Annual General Meeting is the highest decision-making body. Every member has one vote — irrespective of farm size or contribution volume. The AGM elects the board, approves financial statements, and sets strategic direction.
The board meets monthly and is responsible for strategic oversight, policy, and management appointments. A professional management team handles operations day-to-day, with quarterly reporting to the board and annual reporting to the membership.
Rubanga Mitooma SACCO operates under its own management with dedicated governance, while remaining part of the cooperative family. Cross-board representation ensures alignment.
